Not through motivation. Not through hype. Through the same principles I've used coaching fighters for over two decades — applied to your work, your relationships, and your daily life.
I'm not a motivational speaker. I'm not going to yell at you, fix you, or tell you I have all the answers.
What I can tell you is this: after 30 years on the mats and two decades coaching fighters, I've seen the same thing over and over. People don't struggle because they lack ability. They struggle because their standards disappear under pressure.
The work I do is simple — but it's not easy. We build real standards. A daily structure that actually holds. The ability to act when motivation is gone. That's it.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, let's talk.
After two decades coaching fighters — people who perform under real pressure, with no room for excuses — I've seen the same pattern again and again. Talented people fall apart. Steady, disciplined ones rise. The difference isn't ability. It's standards.
We don't process feelings. We build awareness, ownership, and action. If you need clinical support, I'll tell you — and I'll point you toward it.
Motivation is a feeling. Feelings are unreliable. We build the kind of discipline that holds up when the feeling is long gone.
A set of non-negotiables you hold yourself to — especially when things get uncomfortable. That's the work. Nothing more complicated than that.
I've spent most of my life around combat sports. I started training jiu-jitsu in 1994. I fought professionally in MMA. I've cornered UFC fighters including Alex Perez, Marlon "Chito" Vera, and Fernando Padilla, and I've coached Tony Ferguson. I run 10th Planet Costa Mesa and have been awarded a 3rd-degree black belt under Eddie Bravo.
What I learned coaching fighters turned out to apply everywhere else. Standards, structure, and the discipline to hold both under pressure — that's the work. Whether you're walking into a courtroom, running a business, or just trying to become the person you're capable of being, the principles are the same.
Most people who reach out aren't the right fit for this — and that's fine. I'd rather tell you straight than sell you something that won't work.
Format is simple: weekly 45–60 minute sessions, one-on-one. No group calls. No generic worksheets. Built around your specific gaps, your specific life, and what it will take to close the distance between who you are and who you're capable of being.

"His coaching isn't about motivation or hype. It's about building standards and systems that actually hold up when things get uncomfortable. The impact didn't stop in the gym — it showed up in how I think, how I work, and how I operate day to day."
"Ron has a unique ability to act as a mirror, asking the exact questions needed to help me clear the muddied waters and identify what I am truly capable of. He doesn't just offer advice — he unlocks your potential and provides practical, actionable strategies that I now use every day."
"The discipline, accountability, and standards Ron instilled stayed with me through law school, the bar exam, and the early years of my legal career. The way he approaches pressure translates directly to the courtroom — staying composed, thinking several steps ahead, holding myself to a higher standard."
This takes less than 5 minutes. There's no payment and no commitment. Just an honest look at where you are and what you want. If it's a fit, we'll talk.
